Vogue's Online Shopping Night.

I believe this is actually the first post where I have not made some pun-laden, tongue-in-cheek title, because I am just THAT excited about the event to care! Snaps for being literal!

On Wednesday, the 20th November (yes that's tomorrow), Vogue is hosting an online shopping night - a glass of wine, a credit card, countless special offers... this could get dangerous for me. So I am preempting the damage my future self can inflict by trawling through the list of participating brands, and making a, ahem, small selection.

I love Alannah Hill, and it looks like they're rewarding my love with 20% off everything, and free shipping on all orders.

This swimwear brand is guaranteed to give you street cred at the beach ("beach cred"?). On VOSN they are offering 30% off all purchases, and every purchase will go into a draw to win a $500 e-voucher!

Think structured shapes, fabulous fabrics, and a distinct style. Those who make the first 30 purchases tomorrow night will receive a signature Ellery collar (valued at $95!). And everyone will receive 15% off any full-priced garments, plus be rewarded with a Redken All Soft Argan-6 Oil.

Fleur Wood is going to test our shopping speed, by offering 50% off to the first 20 customers! (up to a value of $2000). Those of us who are not as quick will still receive free shipping on all orders.

I've always wanted to own something, anything, from this brand, and it looks like I will finally bite the bullet tomorrow. Why? They are giving a $100 gift voucher to all customers! (and free shipping).

The Australian equivalent of Topshop (though not as good, I must admit) is offering 15% off all purchases between noon and midnight! Enter code 'sportsgirlonly', plus all purchases will come with a Sportsgirl lip jam gift.

For the full list of offers, go to the Vogue website! You've been warned: your wallet may never forgive you.

Happy Shopping! xx.

Lust-Haves: the Gift of Giving.

Hello, I'm baaccckk! And you all have Santa Claus to thank for it.

Over the past week, I have been flipping through magazines, surfing the internet and walking through the shops in search for Christmas inspiration. I was taking so many pictures, bookmarking countless webpages, collecting magazine clippings, and compiling a wishlist (that is ever changing), when I thought, "Why don't I just BLOG about it?!" But because my list is embarrassingly long, I am only going to show you a small snippet of what I'm lusting after.

And before you put me down as someone who becomes one of those grossly narcissistic, present hoarding, people during Christmas, I do love giving presents too! It's perfect timing that the Finders Keepers Markets are popping up in Sydney this weekend, so I can buy up my presents there!

Hello lovelies.

This is a PSA to let you know that I am taking a wee break from blogging. Before you throw bricks at me, I feel terrible about it, and if I wasn't struggling to even keep my eyes open, I would be blogging the life out of me.

Rest assured, I'll be switched back on in a week or so. So until then, stay cool!

Lust-Haves: Opening Ceremony.

I was tossing up a few themes and ideas in my head for this week's Lust-Haves, but that all got wiped clean when I found myself still salivating (so attractive) over Opening Ceremony's S/S 2012 Lookbook

The cutouts! The colours! The styling! Ohmygawd.

Dear Santa, I have been very good this year.

Lust-Haves: I'm on a Boat.

On Saturday, Mother Nature gave us Sydney-siders a preview of what Summer will be like. Cloudless blue skies, soaring temperature, a light breeze. Mother Nature also gave little ol' me something called a sunburn, because she obviously thought I needed a little bit of colour. Getting to see beautiful artworks as part of the annual Sculptures by the Sea was totally worth the lobster-esque "tan" I am sporting, though.

With Summer just around the corner, my wardrobe is still sadly lacking in the swimwear department. I promise I am not just looking for an excuse to shop - girls, we all know what a pain swimsuit shopping is, so you believe me when I say I need a bikini? Yes?

Not to brag about it or anything (and it really shouldn't be something I should advertise on a public space like this blog), but I do have, um, assets, that make it a tad more difficult to find the perfect swimsuit. And when it comes to choosing shapes and prints to flatter certain body types, there are a lot of conflicting messages out there; some say stripes minimise your curves, while some insist they make you wider. Confusing advice aside, bikinis are something that I cannot bear to buy without trying on, and I practically only shop online!

So instead of being realistic (not that I am most of the time), this week's list is based on the delusion assumption that I have Gisele Bunchen's body.
